COLOR STICKS (2025)
Repurposed single-use plastic, wood, art resin
12” x 32” x 2”
COLOR STICKS is a low relief sculptural work composed of floating, wooden dowels wrapped with single-use plastic. Through color and careful arrangement, the piece transforms a material commonly regarded as undesirable into a vibrant, rhythmic surface. The brightness and joy of the piece sit in quiet tension with the origins of the material itself, inviting the viewer to reconsider the beauty and potential of overlooked materials.
